Robert E. De Simone is a Principle Faculty Member with Liminal Group focusing his professional expertise in the areas of High Performance Management and Organizational Development. Robert has leveraged his 19 years of his unique experiences in directing Organizational and Management Development initiatives for individuals and a wide variety of Industries, businesses and institutions.
Robert presently provides his expertise to both private and public sector organizations that seek to enhance their effectiveness. He specializes in high performance executive coaching, transformational leadership and change management to assist and assure organizations in meeting their vision and strategic goals. He has trained senior level executives and teams in visioning, goal setting and critical thinking and decision making. He has designed and facilitated team development sessions to foster collaboration, conflict resolution and strategic problem solving for functional and cross-functional teams. Robert's coaching and training style towards individuals, teams and organizations includes real-time constraints and opportunities available within the client's current state and organizational culture.
He provides a cutting edge contextual view towards self-renewing, and sustainable action oriented dialogue that he sees as the corner stone of high performance behavior and leadership.
Current assignments and principal focus includes aligning senior management teams, developing the strategy and implementation of "horizontal" organizations and senior level executive coaching and development.
Prior to joining Liminal Group, Robert was with Cendant Corporation for six years, where he operated as Vice President of Corporate Relations. There, he implemented among other initiatives, "Brown Bag" lecture series. Topics included, "Practices for the Best of the Best," targeted for customer service, sales support and account receivable executives, "Leading the Leader", and "Who's Company is it anyway."
Robert attended the United State Naval Academy and has a Bachelors of Science degree from The Johns Hopkins University with his concentration in Industrial psychology and organizational development. Robert has recently been inducted into the Lacrosse Hall of Fame for having achieved NCAA All American Honors for four straight years and was also a member of the 1978 U.S.A. World Lacrosse Team. Robert is presently responsible for developing the leadership curriculum for the Huntington Township community leadership program located in Suffolk County New York in partnership with the Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce.
