Executive coaching focuses on the particular needs and challenges of the individual and creates a pathway and a framework for new thresholds of leadership effectiveness. By building on strengths and acknowledging skills in the context of key accomplishments, clients create a credible personal brand; communicate more effectively up and down the corporate ladder and with clients. By developing a stronger sense of self and a senior executive tone they can advance their careers within the organization and retain clients.
By doing an exercise designed to help individuals compare how they think they come across to others with the reality they can make the adjustments to their behavior that are consistent with their authentic self. Coaching provides executives with the tools needed to cut through the clutter in order to see and act more clearly and with greater purpose. As a result, they become more responsive to their own personal needs, the needs of those around them, and most importantly the needs of the organization. Our coaching practice focuses on numerous subsets of branding, communications, work life balance, career strategies for sustainability and internal and external networking.
As an example, the individual coaching session could consists of a personal and professional audit to discover key strengths, accomplishments and unique value -- The characteristics and elements that make you unique. We would also explore your passions and interests so that you have a better sense of your true avocation.
And another session could focus on crafting your brand and designing communication and messaging that helps you develop an executive tone. We would review the typical landmines and traps of the corporate culture and the challenges you have in your personal development goals. And we will identify a peer network and discuss the concept of reciprocity within the context of networking either within your organization or with industry peers.
Private WorkshopsOur group programs are structured for 8-10 professionals to encourage peer networking and peer to peer dialogue while providing techniques to create or refine the participant’s signature brand and communication skills. We work with the participants to develop techniques to advance their careers by identifying key cultural characteristics that define success. . The Advance Your Career group program is aimed at helping professionals achieve success in their careers by getting them focused on the position they want and determining what critical skills they can contribute to the success of the firm.
“Linda Munn is the best personal and corporate branding specialist I have ever worked with.”
Maggie Craddock, President
Workplace Relationships
“Linda is a “Best in Class” corporate and product branding expert. While at Bear Stearns, she spearheaded research on the external perception of the firm, and coupled the findings with the complications associated with the firms’ silo businesses to create and manage a firm-wide branding platform that included logos, graphic design, colors, etc. She and her team successfully created a strong and consistent external brand for the firm. ”
Susan Scherer, Managing Director
Bear Stearns
“In the last eight years, Ms. Munn has been instrumental in helping me transition from Internet entrepreneur to corporate employee and back to entrepreneur again. It is her patience, empathy, insight and ability to reflect back a person’s true nature that has allowed me to understand that I am a “builder” and entrepreneur and not a “maintainer.” The work we have done together has made me both a better employer and employee, and a happier person. I cannot recommend her highly enough.”
Kristin M. Fox, Founder

She individually coached senior executives from all over the globe including Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, Columbia, Botswana, Nigeria, and Great Britain. Because of her listening skills and her sensitivity to the vast cultural differences, she was able to impart customized and practical strategies to each of these executives from totally different industries covering both business and personal development. Her long standing career in the financial services sector has prepared her to provide practical and valuable advice on career advancement and life balance.
